Interior Spaces

Personalizing our spaces in our homes can be fun and challenging at the same time.  Colors, textures, mood, practicality, finishes, and all the fine details that give the home a personal feel can be accomplished with a little thought and creativity. 

Bedrooms

Our bedrooms are our most personal space. Think about all the sleep we enjoy and the naps we sneak in during the afternoon when our schedules allow for it. Think about the colors, the flooring, the lighting, the moldings, and all the treatments that make the area comfortable and inviting. 

Others

Think about all the spaces in your home and condo and then get creative. There are a lot of finishes and details many home and condo builders over looks. Honestly in most of the home and condo developments built in the area it's more about quick turn around and bottom line. The little details are often overlooked. Doors, hardware, molding, window applications, storage, lighting, and a long list of other details. I can walk into a home or condo and pick it apart noticing all the elements where the builder was especially cheap. Too often it shows. Ask your neighbors and see how many of them have had to replace appliances, air conditioners, water heaters, and fixtures in there places that were less than 10 years old. Look at your baseboard and casing and notice it's about the cheapest stuff off the shelf at your local big box building store.  It's your home, make it "yours", define it.

Closets

Closets are many times a last thought, a last consideration when picking and designing our homes and condos. It should be one of our first considerations. Attics are little or no space for storage in Southwest Florida. Many people move from northern areas with basements and do to soil conditions and water table they don't exist in Southwest Florida. Studies

Many modern homes and condos are including studies in their designs. There's a world of possibilities in these spaces. Some people are book lovers and enjoy having a personal library.
